The term “hippie” was coined in the 1960’s to describe the popular youth movement sweeping through the nation at that time.  It originated from the word “hip” meaning “aware” and was used in such phrases as “I am hip to the situation”.  As a trend setting die cast company, very much aware of the specialty and diecast markets, GreenLight introduces 1:64 Motor World Diorama – Hippie Volkswagen 5 Pack!

1:64 Motor World Diorama - Hippie Volkswagen 5 Pack will feature 5 Volkswagens inspired by the bright, bold and colorful culture of the Hippie movement.  The exterior of the Motor World Diorama is designed as a VW Samba Bus, complete with wheels, windshields and headlight artwork.  The body paint of the Samba Bus packaging is reflective of a classic hippie tie-dye shirt and has a window box to view the 5 displayed Volkswagens (VW). 

All 5 VW’s will be displayed in free form fashion across a grass graphic that adorns the bottom of the Diorama.  The music festival backdrop pulls the entire scene together, giving the collector one groovy group of automobiles.
