County Roads was first introduced in November 2008 as 6-car set under the umbrella of GreenLight SE (Special Edition). County Roads has been such a success that GreenLight is on to its third variety!
County Roads embodies the spirit of small town USA with domestic cars that one would see driving through the quaint towns and back roads of America. These vehicles span almost four decades with some featuring brand new truck accessories such as the bed cover and small camper top. This six car assortment includes:
- 1967 Dodge D-100 with Bed Cover
- 1967 Ford Mustang Convertible
- 1982 Chevy Corvette
- 1968 Chevy C-10 Pickup with Small Camper Top
- 1978 Dodge Ramcharger Ridley Township, PA Police
- 2006 Ford Crown Victoria Nash, TX Fire Chief
These die-cast replicas feature opening hoods, detailed engines, real rubber tires, metal body and chassis, detailed graphics, custom license plates and are officially licensed by Ford, Dodge, and Chevrolet. This release is scheduled for arrival in late October 2009. County Roads will be available through GreenLight’s official hobby shops and wholesale dealers. Be sure to look for it at Toys ‘R’ Us, Kmart, Menards and HEB! Each car has a MSRP of $5.99 with a limited production run of 4,500 units so quantities won’t last long!
