1-18 1970 DODGE CHALLENGERS
INDIANAPOLIS, IN (February 24, 2009) – The First Generation Dodge Challenger (1970-1974) was once described by automobile enthusiasts as “Dodge’s answer to the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro”. The 1970 Challenger was one of two Chrysler E-body cars, the other being the slightly smaller Plymouth Barracuda. Both the Challenger and Barracuda were available in a staggering number of trim and option levels.
As a tribute to Dodge’s entry into the Pony Car wars, GreenLight® Collectibles’ newest 1:18 scale Muscle Car Garage® release pays tribute to the First Gen. Challenger. Available now, the 1:18 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T has been manufactured by GreenLight in Bright Red and Light Turquoise Poly, two of the numerous factory colors available from Dodge in the Early-70’s. Both models are limited edition production runs of 1,500 pieces per color.

These die-cast model cars are available through GreenLight official Distributors and Wholesalers throughout the USA, Canada and around the globe. The die-cast replica features a 100% die-cast metal body with authentic factory paint, opening doors, opening hood and trunk, carpeted interior with fabric seatbelts, window box packaging, and a sequentially numbered chassis.
