Great question, Mr. Harris! Our inspiration comes from many sources, but our main objective is to please you, the collector.

New-model selection at GreenLight is an ongoing process. We get ideas from magazines, television, car shows, the automakers, movies---well---almost anywhere. One of the great things about GreenLight is that anyone who works here can make a suggestion, and the Production and Design Teams will take it seriously.
If we find a car that we think GreenLight collectors will like, we sit down and determine how appropriate it is for our assortments. Currently we have Muscle Car Garage, Barrett-Jackson, the Speed Channel, Corvette Collection, and Black Bandit. The more assortments that work for the car, the better chance it has of getting made. This is simply a matter of finding several places for the new car to help pay for the expensive process of mold development.

Other factors come into play, like if the car will have a future in our promotional area or will it have any appeal outside of the U.S. But our primary market is America, so those are the collectors we try to please first.
As much as we might want to make a model of a 1965 Rambler Station Wagon, it won’t happen if we don’t think enough collectors would be interested. I’m now imagining all the requests for Rambler Wagons coming our way!
