GREENLIGHT® IS SETTING THE PACE IN 1:24 SCALE DIE-CAST

April 25, 2006 – GreenLight® Collectibles is excited to present its newest line of 1:24 scale Indy 500 pace cars.  These great American automobiles, from the past and present, have been specially chosen to adorn the Indianapolis 500 emblem and pace The Greatest Spectacle in Racing®. GreenLight® is proud to be adding these replicas to their Pace Car Garage™ collection.

The new line of 1:24 scale pace cars include the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS Convertible Indy 500 pace car, the 1995 Chevrolet Corvette Indy 500 pace car and the recently announced 2006 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Indy 500 pace car.   The authentic die-cast replicas feature a detailed engine, a die-cast metal body and opening doors and hood.  The 2006 Corvette Z06 features an opening rear deck lid.  Each pace car graphic is perfectly detailed and accurate to the actual pace car.  The 1:24 scale pace cars are sequentially numbered and come packaged in a custom designed window box with images of the actual pace car in action.  Like the real thing, the pace car die-cast replicas are limited editions and officially licensed by General Motors and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.  Visit the ‘GreenLight Products’ section of the GreenLight® Collectibles website to view the entire collection of the Indy 500 Pace Car die-cast replicas.    The Indianapolis 500 pace cars can be purchased through one of GreenLight’s Official Distributors.  Please visit the “Distributors” or “Where to Buy?” sections of our website for a complete listing, www.greenlighttoys.com.
